AKA Optics is run by experienced managers
Prof., Dr. of Sc. Alexis KUDRYASHOV, 56, Russian, President
He began his career as a PhD student in Lomonosov Moscow State University, the prestigious Russian University, doing research in adaptive optics, a new emerging field at this time. He then worked as a researcher with the founders of adaptive optics technology, first at the US Air Force in the USA, where the technology was invented, then at the Imperial College in the UK with another team of pioneers.
He is a professor at Moscow Open State University, now supervising PhDs students and trainees, with more than 250 papers published in peer reviewed international scientific research journals. He is co-organizing every 2 years the international conference on adaptive optics AOIM (Workshop on Adaptive Optics for Industry and Medicine) and often serves as a chairman in international scientific conferences in adaptive optics and in high power lasers.
Prof. Alexis Kudryashov has been a successful entrepreneur as the founder and scientific director of Active Optics NightN Ltd., a 15 people company based in Moscow and in Shatura (120 km east from Moscow), specialized in adaptive optics for high power lasers.
With is Russian company and his products, Alexis Kudryashov gained a solid reputation in the field.
